Home: About STSN

STSN, part of the NSF-Census Research Network, is comprised of a team of investigators conducting interdisciplinary research on methodological questions that are important to the U.S. Census Bureau, the Federal Statistical System, as well as the larger social science and statistics research community. The primary foci of STSN are research and education. From both perspectives, STSN will advance methodological research and applied scientific knowledge through the use of hierarchical spatio-temporal statistical modeling. Emphasis is placed on applications to the American Community Survey (ACS).  STSN is funded by the National Science Foundation in partnership with the U.S. Census Bureau under the NSF-Census Research Network funding opportunity.
